In 1998 TransCentury purchased from Mobil Oil a 50 % interest in a 35-acre tract of land located in the heart of Dallas, north of LBJ Freeway and west of the Dallas North Tollway. TransCentury created four separate parcels that included parcels for a Shopping Center, Townhomes and two Mid-Rises. In 1998 TransCentury co-developed the Parkside Townhomes, a 300,000 square foot upper end town home community.  Within 30 days of CO receipt, the property was 95% occupied.  The property was sold in July of 2005.
